We absolutely love dogs at Farm-Fest, they’re part of the countryside
family. To make sure everyone (two-legged and four-legged) has a
brilliant and safe experience, we’ve put the following policy in place.
Daytime: Dogs Welcome
Dogs are welcome on site during daytime hours, subject to the following
rules:
Rules for Dogs on Site
-
All dogs must be kept on a short, fixed lead at all times (no
extendables).
-
Please ensure your dog is well-behaved and comfortable around crowds,
children, livestock, and other dogs.
-
You must clean up immediately after your dog. Dog waste bins will be
available across the site.
-
Please bring fresh water for your dog — water points will also be
available.
-
Farm-Fest reserves the right to refuse entry or request removal of any
dog showing signs of aggression, distress, or unsafe behaviour.
Restricted Areas
For safety and hygiene reasons, dogs are not permitted inside:
- Food preparation areas
- Chef demo tents
- Livestock zones
-
Any enclosed areas where dogs are specifically prohibited by signage
Evening Music Performances: Dogs Not Permitted
From the start of the evening music programme, dogs will not be allowed in the main festival arena.
This is for:
- The safety of pets in loud, crowded environments
- Public safety during high-density evening crowds
- Compliance with licensing and night-time operations
Clear signage and timed announcements will remind visitors when the
dog-free period begins.
Dog friendly music field
For the comfort of our canine companions, we will provide a dog friendly
music field, a significant distance from the stage, where you can still
be part of the festivities but well away from the noise and crowds.
The Dog Crèche
To ensure dog owners can still enjoy the nighttime entertainment and for
pooches who need a break we’re pleased to offer a secure Dog Crèche on
site.
How the Crèche Works
- Open from 10am -11pm
- Fully supervised by trained professionals
- Safe, climate-controlled environment
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated and healthy
- Additional fees apply - £5 / dog / hour
-
Maximum stay = 4 hours. Re-entry permitted after walk and toilet
breaks at the discretion of creche staff.
Full details, operating hours, and booking instructions will be
published closer to the event.
Camping
Dogs are welcome in the official campsites during daytime and evenings,
provided:
- They are supervised at all times
- They do not disturb other campers
-
Dogs staying at the campsite still cannot enter the festival arena
during evening music hours. They must not be left alone under any
circumstances.
Welfare Reminder
Farm-Fest takes canine welfare seriously. If weather conditions (e.g.,
heat) pose a risk, we may adjust access rules or introduce additional
welfare measures. Visitors bringing dogs do so at their own risk and
accept responsibility for their dog’s behaviour.
